Recognising your pattern¶
This section describes common patterns of sleep, how to spot them in your own chart, and how to manage them. The Zeitlog dashboard tries to detect some of them automatically — the algorithm it uses is in patterns.js.
-
A typical pattern
Sleeping from about 10 pm to about 6 am.
-
Trouble getting to sleep on time
Your natural bedtime is later than you would like, but stays the same over time.
-
Trouble sticking to a bedtime
Your natural bedtime continually gets later, no matter how late you stay up.
Sleeping in daylight¶
People who sleep at unusual times often have to deal with sleeping in a sunlit room — which can badly hurt the quality and quantity of your sleep.
